UPDATE: Russell's Moresco Finishes Tied for 80th at 3A Tournament, Day Two Canceled Due to Weather
Russell's Tyler Moresco shot an opening round 95 on Monday, May 23 and, as it turned out, finished tied for 80th at the Class 3A Boys State Golf Tournament in Salina at the Salina Municipal Course.
Day two of the tournament was canceled due to unplayable course conditions. By manual policy, the tournament reverts back to the first 18 hole scores for final.
The RHS senior tied with five other players at +25. Harrison Middleton from Cheney won the individual title with a 2-under 68. Camden Waterson from Hesston finished one stroke back in second place at 1-under 69.
Hesston took the team title with a 319. Santa Fe Trail finished second at 321. Olathe-Heritage Christian Academy was third at 323.
