Victoria-Russell Tennis Captures First Place at Trego

The Victoria-Russell Girls Tennis team turned in another outstanding performance on Saturday with a first place team finish at the Trego Invitational in WaKeeney.

Aurora Nowlin led the way for the Lady Knight netters with a third place finish in the singles competition while Piper Nowlin turned in a sixth place finish.

On the doubles side, Anna-Marie Marsell and Hailey Gier finished fourth while Rachel Kuhn and Saige Moos placed 12th.

Victoria-Russell will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, October 5 with a trip to the Phillipsburg Invitational. Matches begin at 9 a.m.
