Gorham, Milberger Firefighters Respond to Vehicle Fire

Gorham and Milberger firefighters responded to a vehicle fire Monday morning on the Russell/Barton County line.

The fire was reported at 9:53 AM Monday southwest of Milberger according to dispatch logs.

The Chevy pickup was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene according to Gorham Fire Chief Glen Blundon.

The fire was extinguished, but the pickup is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, but Blundon said it could have been an electrical short.

There were no injuries.
