Kelsey Decker Named New Executive Director for Russell Main Street, Inc.

Kelsey Decker has been announced as the new Executive Director for Russell Main Street, Inc.

She is a senior at Fort Hays State University majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

She said in an email announcement March 28 she will bring with her a deep passion for tourism and a strong dedication to fostering economic growth within communities.

Having grown up in the small town of Sylvan Grove, she said she understands firsthand the importance of organizations like Russell Main Street in revitalizing and preserving the heart of our communities. It is this personal connection and commitment to small-town values that drives her enthusiasm for this position.

She said she is excited to collaborate with everyone as we work together to breathe new life into Russell Main Street.

Russell Main Street, Inc. will be bringing back the monthly newsletter starting May 1. The newsletter will include upcoming events, goals of the organization and tips to help grow small businesses. If you or your business are hosting an event, please don't hesitate to send RMSI the information to feature it in the newsletter. The aim of Russell Main Street is to foster community engagement, drive foot traffic to businesses and ultimately continue the growth of Main Street.
