Recipients of Storefront, Signage Grant Program Selected

Recipients of the 2022 Russell County Economic Development Storefront and Signage Grant Program have been selected.

Collected applications were sent to be reviewed and scored on criteria such as project scope, impact and budget requirements.

The following businesses have been awarded grants for the program: All Weather Roofing and Insulation, LLC, Farm Bureau Crop Insurance, World's Largest Things Incorporated, American Legion Post 99, Big A Contracting, LLC, Korner K9 Grooming and Russell's Original Art Review.

This program offers up to $2,000 of matching grant funds toward projects totaling $4,000 or more that include the development or improvement of business storefronts and signage and was designed to help create or enhance the promotion and physical appearance of Russell County.

The SFSG Program is funded by the half-cent sales tax for economic development and capital improvements and organized by Russell County Economic Development.
