A Rush Center man was injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in rural Russell County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 4:17 PM Sunday, a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 73-year-old David Woods of Rush Center was southbound on 192nd Street approaching Walters Road.

The motorcycle began to negotiate the curve westbound when the driver lost control. The motorcycle entered the west ditch and came to rest.

Woods was taken to Russell Regional Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet but was wearing eye protection at the time of the accident.
