Russell Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Halloween House, Business Decorating Contest

Come one, come all to the Russell Area Chamber of Commerce Halloween House and Business Decorating Contest.

Deck your home or business with spooky Halloween decor and enter your creation for a chance to win a handsome cash prize.

Cash prizes awarded will be $500 for first place, $250 for second and $100 for third in the home category and $500 for first place, $350 for second and $150 for third in the business category.

Entry deadline is Friday, October 21.

A list of homes and businesses will then be compiled for public viewing. Chamber staff will contact contestants the week prior to Halloween to photograph the decorated properties.

Judging will take place on Facebook on Sunday, October 30 and awards will be announced on Halloween day, Monday, October 31.
