Russell County Commissioners Discuss Road and Bridge Projects, 2025 Budget

The Russell County Commissioners met Monday and discussed road and bridge projects and the 2025 budget.

The Commissioners held a special meeting last week to discuss the weight limit posting of the bridge north of Bunker Hill on the Bunker Hill Blacktop due to increased traffic during the closure of US Highway 281.

Strobel recapped that discussion following Monday's meeting.

Also Monday, the Commissioners approved a bid to remodel the Commission Room at the Russell County Courthouse to make room for the expansion of the Commission in 2025.

Also Monday, the Commissioners heard budget requests for 2025 from a few entities.
