Russell County Leadership is gearing up to celebrate the graduation of its second class on Monday, May 6 at the Dole-Specter Conference Center at Fossil Creek Hotel and Suites in Russell.

This year's class, consisting of six individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries, has shown a strong commitment to developing their leadership skills to better serve their community.

Over the past nine months, the graduates have participated in a series of seminars focused on team building, personal development, business development and community engagement. These seminars were thoughtfully designed to equip the graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to address the challenges facing Russell County.

"We are excited to mark the upcoming graduation of the second class of Russell County Leadership," said Lisa Moubry, Executive Director of the Russell Area Chamber of Commerce. "These individuals have shown exceptional dedication to enhancing our communities and we have no doubt that they will emerge as influential leaders in the future."

The graduation ceremony, scheduled for May 6 at 6 PM, will include speeches from members of the Russell County Leadership Board, as well as the graduates sharing their experiences and insights gained from the program. Those interested in attending the banquet are requested to contact Lisa Moubry with the Chamber of Commerce.

Russell County Leadership is dedicated to identifying, educating and motivating emerging leaders in Russell County. The program is open to individuals from all backgrounds and industries with one-day seminar sessions held once a month from August to April.
