Russell Police Officer Chris Bixenman Graduates from Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center
The Russell Police Department congratulates Officer Chris Bixenman on his graduation from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center as part of the 323rd class.
The 14-week basic training academy is the first step in an officer's formal education in Kansas law enforcement.
Kansas law enforcement officers are required to attend a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education each year, but many exceed those hours.
Officer Bixenman will be back on the streets this week to finish his field training with Corporal Danny Hoffman.
