Sylvan-Lucas Students Volunteer for Projects at Wilson Lake

The US Army Corps of Engineers at Wilson Lake thanks teachers Ben Labertew and Kadie Branda and their 18 students from USD 299 Sylvan-Lucas Unified High School who recently volunteered their time to work on public land projects at Wilson Lake.

The Corps said this enthusiastic high school team covered an array of issues involving painting sheds and railings and collecting roadside and shoreline litter as well as cedar tree removal, all to benefit the environment and the aesthetics of Wilson Lake.
