Wildfire Task Force to Meet September 1

The Governor's Wildfire Task Force will meet on Thursday, September 1 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Kansas Department of Agriculture at 1320 Research Park Drive in Manhattan.

The meeting is open to the public and will discuss recommendations for how federal, state and local officials, along with Kansas communities, can better prevent, respond to and recover from wildfires.

This meeting will be held in person only.

Due to space limitations, guests are asked to RSVP to Brittney Grother at Brittney.Grother@ks.gov or 785-564-6797 by Wednesday, August 31.

Persons who require special accommodations must make their needs known at least two days prior to the meeting.
