Ellis Sweeps Lady Broncos in Monday Tilt

Game 1: Ellis 16, Russell-Victoria 4
Game 2: Ellis 10, Russell-Victoria 4

The Russell-Victoria Lady Bronco Softball team faced Mid-Continent League rival Ellis for the second time this season on Monday afternoon at Memorial Park.  The Lady Railers won both games by scores of 16-4 and 10-4. Game 1 ended after six innings due to the run rule while Game 2 went the distance.

Jonae Radke and Saige Moos were the pitchers for record for Russell-Victoria (1-19).

The Lady Broncos will have a short turnaround as they will hit the road on Tuesday, April 30 for a doubleheader at Haven.  First pitch for Game 1 is set for 4 p.m.
