Four Broncos in KWCA Rankings, Russell/Sylvan-Lucas Boys Move Up to #5
Four members of the Russell/Sylvan-Lucas wrestling team are state ranked in this week's Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association polls.
Xzephren Donner jumps to #1 at 106 pounds in 3-2-1A. The RHS sophomore is 14-3.
Teagan Pfeifer remains second at 165. The Russell junior is 10-3.
Brayden Suchy drops to fifth at 175. The Bronco junior is 12-2.
Jaden Ney remains the top ranked wrestler at 145 pounds in 4-1A. The RHS junior is 15-0.
The Russell/Sylvan-Lucas boys move up two spots to fifth in the team standings. Hoxie is the top ranked team again this week followed by Norton, Phillipsburg, Atchison County and Russell. Minneapolis is sixth followed by Hill City, Haven, Sabetha and Nemaha Central.
Oakley is #1 in 4-1A again this week followed by Rossville, Pratt, Winfield and Baldwin. Chanute is sixth followed by Colby, Paola, Fort Scott and WaKeeney-Trego.
