RHS Spring Sports Broadcast Schedule Announced
KRSL Russell Radio is pleased to announce its Spring, 2024 broadcast schedule for Russell-Victoria Baseball and Softball.
The first broadcast of the spring is this Friday, March 22 when the Russell-Victoria Softball team opens the 2024 season at Memorial Park against arch-rival TMP-Marian.
The first Baseball broadcast will take place on Tuesday, April 9 when the Broncos play a rare away game within Russell County against Sylvan-Lucas in Lucas. Russell-Victoria Softball will play at Memorial Park on April 22 against Sacred Heart.
On Friday, April 26, Baseball is back on the airwaves when the Broncos battle TMP-Marian at Shaffer Field, followed by another home doubleheader with Larned on April 30 and the final regular season broadcast will take place on May 2 when Russell-Victoria Baseball hosts Southeast of Saline on Senior Day, marking the Trojans' first visit to Russell since 2019.
All broadcasts are doubleheaders with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. All games will air on KRSL 95.9 FM with Erik Stone beginning his seventh season on the call for Bronco Baseball and Softball. Games will also be available online at KRSL.com and streaming on your Alexa device.
