Russell K-18 Rolls to Win at Wilson

The Russell K-18 Baseball team took the field for the second night in a row with an away contest Thursday evening at Wilson.

After a tough loss at home to Smith Center on Wednesday, the K-18 squad had little trouble with Wilson on their way to a 16-2 victory.  

Russell's record now stands at 2-2 and they will next be in action on Monday, June 20 when they host Lincoln at the Shaffer Field Complex.  Lincoln won a wild game over Russell on June 2 in Lincoln by a score of 15-14.

Games against Beloit Blue on June 10 and Beloit Red on June 13 were postponed by wet grounds at Shaffer Field.  No makeup date has been announced for those contests at this time.
